Any tour of Ireland should include a visit to the Cliffs of Moher.
These majestic cliffs are truly spectacular , rising to 700 feet above the blue waters of the Atlantic , and stretching for some 5 miles.
Approaching them from land , it is almost impossible to imagine what lies beyond the rolling green grasslands that extend to their very edge. At Ireland Luxury Tours we like to take the coastal route to or from the cliffs to enjoy the whole experience. This road is a hidden gem in itself.
The cliffs are home to countless seabirds such as guillemot , puffin , fulmar , and kittiwake , all of which thrive on the rich fishing below. On our coastal route you can see the shoreline fishermen and the success of their fishing efforts. But coaches cannot take this road.
