Arrival in Scotland with a journey to the Isle of Arran, combining coastal scenery, historic sites, and ancient stone circles.
- West Coast & Isle of Skye Journey
Travel north along the west coast via Oban and the Highlands, continuing to the Isle of Skye with its rugged landscapes and coastal views.
- Northern Highlands & Orkney Islands
Continue through the northern Highlands to John O’Groats before exploring the Orkney Islands, known for their ancient heritage and dramatic coastal scenery.
- St Andrews, Edinburgh & Departure
Travel south via St Andrews before arriving in Edinburgh for a final city stay, exploring historic landmarks prior to departure.
Itinerary
Fly into Edinburgh or Glasgow. Travel to the beautiful Isle of Arran and stay 2 nights at the superb Auchrannie Resort. Relax on your first day and enjoy the “Aspa”
Visit Brodick Castle and Machrie Moor Stone Circle which is 4000 years old!
In the afternoon enjoy some seal watching.
Transfer to the Mull of Kintyre via the quaint town of Oban. Stay one night at the lovely Ugadale Hotel.
Travel via the Kyle of Lochalsh to the famous Isle of Skye. Stay at Kinloch Lodge for one night.
Move north via Ullapool through the Highlands to the end of the country, literally!! Stay in John O’Groats at the fantastic Inn Ay John O’Groats.
Take a boat trip to the Orkney Islands. Visit The Italian Chapel and the Northfield Chambered Cairn.
Travel South and visit the home of golf, where it all began…. Saint Andrews. Stay one night at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel.
Transfer to Edinburgh and stay for 2 nights at the wonderful George Hotel, Edinburgh.
Visit Edinburgh Castle one of the best castles in the world. Explore Edinburgh and enjoy the history.
