Just back from a great tour of Scotland.
We were treated to a unique experience and authentic tour.
The itinerary was perfect.
Austen looked after us every day and made sure we saw what we needed to but still gave us time to relax.
All the hotels were very good, except for a small issue with one of them. But Austen quickly remedied the problem.
A big thank you to Maurice for his planning and Austen for his driving. We certainly intend to use Ireland and Scotland Luxury Tours for a visit to Ireland in 2027.

My wife and I took my elderly parents on a tour of Ireland as it was their lifetime dream.

In 2025 my husband and I decided we would like to visit Ireland in 2026.
A friend had used Ireland and Scotland Luxury Tours in 2019.
It was a great decision.
We saw places in Ireland that only had a few people visiting and felt so original.
We also saw some of the well known sights.
Billy was our driver and he looked after us so well.
We now plan to visit Scotland in 2027.

I travelled with my family to these countries in July 2026.
The trip was superb.
Our hotels were ALL excellent, with great food.
Best of all we got to spend time around the locals and enjoy how they lived.
Our driver/guide was Austen and he made us feel like we were exploring every day.

We were planning to take a trip to Ireland along with our three adult children in June/July of this
year. Ireland & Scotland Luxury Tours was recommended to us and Maurice Dowle was our
point of contact. Maurice asked us what areas and activities were of interest to us and tailored
an itinerary for our group. He made sure to keep us informed throughout the planning process
and made adjustments according to our needs and interests. He made all lodging
arrangements on our behalf. Our group spent two days in Dublin. Maurice made several
suggestions for activities and pubs/restaurants for our stay in Dublin. The hotel was in a great
location and met all our expectations.
On our third day in Ireland our family met our driver/tour guide Austen. Our group set out in a
Mercedes van that was very comfortable. Austen was very personable and knowledgeable
about local history and points of interest. Over the next five days Austen made sure all our
needs were met. He made sure our hotel accommodations were on track, made suggestions
and reservations (when necessary) for restaurants and pubs. All were just what we were
looking for. Austen was very accommodating to any adjustments we wanted to make to our
itinerary and was always helpful and available. He made sure our tickets for historical sites and
local attractions were taken care of. The horse-and-buggy ride through Killarney National Park
was very enjoyable. Maurice checked in with us several times during our trip to make sure
everything was satisfactory.
Ireland & Scotland Luxury Tours was a homerun for our family.We would recommend the
company , Maurice and Austen being a big part of our family’s enjoyment of Ireland ,for anyone
looking to travel in Ireland and Scotland. We are planning on using them in the future as well.

We visited Ireland and really enjoyed seeing the Rock of Cashel, Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, and Dublin.
Northern Ireland was our favorite part of the trip.
The Giants Causeway was amazing and the Titanic Experience was so interesting.
Scotland was unbelievable and we saw Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond, Loch Ness, and Edinburgh Castle.
We saw many hidden gems in Ireland and Scotland as well.
All (and I do mean all) of our hotels were brilliant.
Our driver/guide Austen was also brilliant and we felt we were travelling with a close friend.

6 day trip through Ireland
Our family of four just had an amazing trip through Ireland thanks to Maurice and our guide/driver Billy. We never had to worry for a moment about where to go, what to do, where to eat… they planned everything out perfectly! All of our accommodations were 5+ stars and we could have easily spent a week at each location. Highlights for our teen girls (besides traveling with Uncle Billy as he came to be known by the end of the week) included exploring the towns, dancing with traditional Irish bands at the pubs, stunning weather for the Cliffs of Moher and sheep, all the sheep! We loved the off-the-beaten path locations of this trip and would recommend Maurice and Billy to any family in a heartbeat. If you’re considering a trip to Ireland, do yourselves a favor and leave everything to Maurice and Billy – they are worth every penny!

I wanted to share a very positive note about Ireland and Scotland Luxury Tours and our recent trip to Ireland. This trip was an especially meaningful and unforgettable experience for our family (including our three daughters, ages 19, 24, and 26).
The itinerary was exceptional and showcased so many of the highlights of Ireland without getting bogged down in lines and crowds. From visiting the Rock of Cashel to exploring Killarney National Park and touring the Ring of Beara, every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and never rushed. Traveling along the Cliffs of Moher and through the Burren, with time in Galway, was breathtaking. Our stays at Sheen Falls, Ballynahinch Castle, and The Old Inn were each five-star. Each had their own unique character and exceptional service. If I could go back to Sheen Falls and spend a week there, I would!
As much as I can go on about the beauty of Ireland, the highlight for all of us is the personal touch Ireland Luxury Tours creates. Maurice was incredibly knowledgeable and always available while we were planning the trip. The absolute pinnacle of our trip was Billy Dempsy, the guide and driver of our tour. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines such warmth with deep expertise. He made a lasting impression on our entire family. I’m very grateful for the care, attention, and enthusiasm he brought to the experience. It was also fun to see that he seemed to know someone everywhere we went. We have made a lifelong friend.
