Behind the Ballymascanlan House Hotel (near Carlingford) stands a remarkable sight.

It is a 5000 year old tomb with a huge capstone.
The capstone alone weighs 46 tons.
Visitors who can throw three pebbles that then remain on the top of the capstone will be granted a wish.
Or so local legend states!
Nearby is an unkept gallery grave made of rocks that seem to outline a great bed.
That is said to be the grave of the Scottish giant who came to fight the Irish giant Finn MaCool.
