This is a village in the West of Ireland.

It is well worth a visit on any tours of Ireland and has a number of places to stay.

 

There is plenty to see around Clifden.

In fact, Kylemore Pass, leading to the Abbey, is also worth seeing.

 

There is also Aughnanure Castle which has a fantastic and unique history.

 

The Twelve Bens mountain range are beautiful.

 

Check out Killary Harbour, which is a fjord, an unusual find in Ireland.

Leenane is a picturesque village at the head of the Fjord, and a great stop.

 

Roundstone is a great lunch stop and a nice wee place to walk around.
