11 Apr Day nineteen of our Ireland tour
We have decided to do a live blog on one of our Ireland tours as it happens….it might be an interesting exercise !!!
Today our clients left the Culloden Hotel , on the shore of Belfast Lough , to travel to their final destination……Dublin.
We drove around the Ards Peninsula and took the ferry across to Strangford.
Then through Downpatrick and over the Mountains of Mourne into Newry and across the border.
Then we took the main road to Dublin.
However we stopped at Newgrange , which is a real hidden gem on any tours of Ireland. It is a Stone Age Passage Tomb over 5000 years old. Very interesting.
The we drove the short final route to Dublin and booked our clients in to the Gresham Hotel.
Tonight they plan to eat at Gallaghers Boxty House in Temple Bar and enjoy the local music in the pubs. Temple Bar is a must see on any Ireland tours for the sheer buzz in the place.
