18 Apr East to West coast Ireland tour
On day one of our tour we drove from Dublin airport to the wonderful Hotel Kilkenny. After a drive around the town the clients enjoyed dinner at the fantastic Ristorante Rinuccini , just opposite Kilkenny castle , then enjoyed a pint of Guinness in a local pub !!!
Kilkenny is a real hidden gem on any tours of Ireland and has a fantastic castle with a lot of history , Saint Canices Cathedral and Round Tower is also worth a visit.
It is a vibrant medieval city that has much to offer.
For shopping there is the Kilkenny Design Centre.
If you find yourself in Dublin on any Ireland tours try to see Kilkenny even for a day should you not have time to stay overnight.
Our clients thoroughly enjoyed Kilkenny …… though perhaps not the climb to the top of Saint Canices tower !!!!! But they did think the views were well worth it !!!!
