23 Apr East to West Coast Ireland tour
Day five of our tour saw us waken up at the magnificent Skellig Hotel in Dingle.
Our clients enjoyed an early morning swim in the pool then a hearty breakfast.
Today we took the Slea Head drive and enjoyed some of the best scenery that you will ever see on any tours of Ireland.
We visited Dunbeg Fort and marvelled at the construction. It dates from 2000 BC and has wonderful sea views. Its a hidden gem.
Then it was on to the famous Beehive Huts dating from 1200 AD.
But the drive itself is a must see attraction on any Ireland tours and is simply breathtaking.
We returned to Dingle via the Connor Pass……only one word for this…..WOW !!!!!
That evening our clients enjoyed local seafood at the wonderful “Global Village” restaurant in Dingle.
They agreed that the Dingle Peninsula has some of the most wonderful scenery in Ireland
