Drive to the coastal town of Newcastle, set at the foot of the Mountains of Mourne, where the mountains rise directly from the coastline.
Continue through the Mourne Mountains on one of Northern Ireland’s most scenic drives and visit the peaceful setting of Silent Valley, surrounded by mountain peaks.
Travel onwards to Downpatrick, traditionally recognised as the birthplace of Saint Patrick and one of the most important historic towns in Ireland.
