08 Feb Ring Of Kerry, County Kerry
At Ireland and Scotland Luxury Tours we tend to avoid the Ring of Kerry due to increased commercialism.
There are a lot of coaches, and a lot of national flags from all nations that visit Ireland.
It’s all a bit “put on”
But the scenery is stunning.
On any tours of Ireland, we tend to take clients to Killarney National Park.
This can be classed as part of the Ring of Kerry but is certainly not commercialised.
Molls Gap gives you a fine view of the Killarney Lakes, and Ladies View provides and even more stunning spectacle across the Upper Lake.
Its worth visiting Muckross House, and Muckross Abbey and maybe even trying one of the jaunting cars.
But Killarney town is full of coaches and tourists.
