If you are on tours of Ireland and visit the province of Ulster ypu will no doubt see the famous political murals.
However some of these are more historical than political , and some depict the very proud association that Ulster regiments in the British Army had in the First World War. Both Catholics and Protestants served in these regiments and fought together side by side with horrific loss of life.
The Somme Heritage Centre is an opportunity to travel back in time and relive the Somme.
Walk along the trenches, look into No Man’s Land and experience the sights and sounds of the Battlefield, an experience to remember!
