08 Apr Day seventeen of our Ireland tour
We have decided to do a live blog on one of our Ireland tours as it happens….it might be an interesting exercise !!!
Today we left the beautiful Bushmills Inn (after more porridge with whiskey ! ) and travelled the short distance to visit the world famous Giants Causeway.
From there we stuck to the coast and stopped in Ballintoy harbour for lunch at Rourkes Kitchen , a real hidden gem on any Ireland tours.
Then we went on to Carrick-a -Rede Rope Bridge. This is not for the faint hearted !!!
We followed the coast road right up to Carrickfergus and visited the fabulous castle. This is a must see attraction on any tours of Ireland. It has a fantastic history and is in a great condition to walk around.
After that day our clients were glad to reach their hotel just outside of Belfast. The Culloden Hotel is an ex bishops palace and the setting on the side of Belfast Lough quite superb.
