Glenarm Castle, County Antrim

This is indeed a true hidden gem on any tours of Ireland.

It is still occupied by the Earl of Antrim.

On any journey along the North coast (on the way to the Giants Causeway) this castle is worth a stop.

It sits in beautifully wooded grounds, which make you feel you are looking at the castle just as it was originally.

This castle was built in 1636 by the first Earl.

But there has been a castle on the site since the 13th century.

The walled garden is worth visiting and a general walk around the grounds gives you a real feeling of historical Ireland.

The tiny village of Glenarm is very quaint.

There are great picnic spaces, and sea fishing is available.

The castle is available for corporate events and weddings.
