05 Mar Murlough Bay and Fair Head
If you are on tours of Ireland and fancy driving along a minor road the Murlough Bay is the most spectacular of all the bays along the northern coast.
From the rigged cliff-tops , the hillside curves down to the sea in a series of wildflower meadows , and the sheep perched on top , it is spectacular. But BEWARE the road is very tricky !
This is a place to enjoy the views and just take it all in on one of our extended Belfast tours.
The last headland before Ballycastle is Fair Head , whose massive six hundred foot cliffs offer a superb view across the North Channel to Scotland. The Mull of Kintyre , Islay , and the Paps of Jura are often clearly visible.
If you are on Ireland tours the North coast is a must see , and this part of the coast cannot be missed.
