Situated between Cathedral Square and the Bishop’s Palace, Waterford’s latest museum is a tribute to Medieval Waterford and life in the city during that period. Its worth a visit on any tours of Ireland.
Carefully preserving several medieval structures within its walls, the Museum was opened to the public on Friday 24th August 2012.
This museum charts the development , history , and importance of Waterford and having visited it recently we can strongly recommend a tour of this hidden gem.
The museum is just across the road from the famous Waterford Crystal factory and nearby is the superb Munster pub which serves great food and great Guinness !!
