05 Apr Day fifteen of our Ireland tour
We have decided to do a live blog on one of our Ireland tours as it happens….it might be an interesting exercise !!!
We left Lough Eske Castle today and drove the direct route to Derry. Its the city of culture in 2013.
The morning was spent with a private tour of the famous city walls. Derry is known as the “maiden city” as those walls were never breached.
There is also a wonderful museum for those interested in the troubled history of the city.
We had a great lunch in Derry and moved on along the coast to Mussenden Temple. This is another hidden gem for any tours of Ireland but surely has the most spectacular views anywhere in Ireland.
Then we drove the short coastal route to Bushmills and booked in to the fabulous Bushmills Inn.
