Glen Clova, Dundee & Angus

This is one of the five Angus glens.

Glen Clova is a Scottish valley which has superb views.

It is well worth a visit on any tours of Scotland, and is a real hidden gem.

The Glen is known for its alpine flora and for other rare plants and ferns.

There are magnificent rock-cliffs and corrie basins.

There are many red squirrels and roe deer in the glen.

At Milton of Clova, in the glen, are the remains of a castle.

This was once the seat of the Ogilvies.

The roads within Glen Clova are single track and require competent driving.

But the walks and hikes are simply spectacular and well worth any issues of getting there.
