The Japanese Gardens are enchanting and relaxing.
They make for a perfect break from the road.
Kildare itself has a fantastic Anglican Cathedral dating from the 13th century.
Its round tower is 300 years older.
There is also an “outlet” shopping mall, selling many designer pieces at good prices.
