A music group formed in O Donaghues music bar in Dublin in 1962…..they sing ballads mostly.
The original group included Barney McKenna , Luke Kelly , John Sheahan , Ciarin Bourke , and Ronnie Drew.
Dublin street song was their core material , sung in local accents and set to superb arrangements with strong traditional instrumentals.
On a tour of Ireland you will certainly hear their songs.
